NetSnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising in this app.
Your run history, saved targets (bookmarks), and preferences are stored only in this app's local storage on your device. They are never sent anywhere, and NetSnap's developer never has access to them.
Every ping, traceroute, DNS lookup, and port check sends traffic only to the target you specify, to perform the diagnostic you asked for. The My Network tool's public-IP lookup queries OpenDNS and Team Cymru's public DNS infrastructure — services NetSnap's developer does not operate — to show you your own public IP address and ISP/ASN information. These are ordinary DNS queries, not analytics, and nothing about you is stored by this app as a result of them.
NetSnap does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
